Building a kinder way to find support
I'm a Health, Wellbeing and Social Care student, a single mum of two, and someone who believes that finding help should never feel overwhelming.
A few years ago, I found myself searching for support too, and quickly realised how difficult it is. Helpful organisations existed, but the information was scattered across dozens of websites, directories and social media pages. It was easy to miss the support that could make a real difference.
That experience inspired me to create OneRoof Connect.
What started as a simple idea has grown into a national platform that brings together charities, councils, community groups, support services and free events in one easy-to-use place.
I'm not a large organisation or a technology company. I'm simply someone who believes that communities are stronger when people can easily find help and when amazing local organisations are easier to discover.
My hope is simple
That every parent, every family, every young person and every individual can find trusted help quickly, feel connected to their community and know they are not alone.
